*** the feeder may not be super wettable at first, because it is freshly machined.
Time & Ink will make the feeder more hydrophilic.
Sulfur at the surface of ebonite will disappear over time, and tiny pores will form.
even the inside of air / ink channels and inside area of the individual fins will become hydrophilic.
basically, the entire feeder will get super wettable within 1 year, and continue to do so until perfection is achieved.
* hydrophilic : having a tendency to mix with, dissolve in, or be wetted by water.
