Solid Machined Titanium Nib prototyping initiated

Hello again, this is Eureka admin (The fountain pen researcher)
Today I announce the initiation of solid machined titanium nib prototyping.
 
Below photo shows my prototype pen, made when I was in college (around year 2010~2012).
it was called "waterdrop pen"
The pen was made from aluminum alloy.
Since this was just a prototype pen, there were many limitations.
 
there was no tipping, so the aluminum alloy point would wear quickly.
feed diameter was too small, due to my ideal pursuit of symmetrical water drop design.
machining precision wasn't ideal, due to lack of resources at the time.
 
Many years have passed, and I've long forgotten my previous dreams.
Through research and much endeaver, I've gained more experience and gathered various techonologies.
Now, I feel pretty confident to realize my old dream once again.
 
This time, the nib will be made from titanium alloy (specific alloy I haven't chosen yet, but i will go for the best one if possible).
Titanium's moh hardness is 6. Compared to tipping alloy (6~7), it will be less wear resistant, but for M nib or larger I think it will last quite long. This still needs actual wear-resistance test though.
I will optimize the ideal symmetrical design to create more functional nib.
The slit thickness will be 0.1~0.15mm, and very very high accuracy.
This may be difficult, but I will try to make the nib capable of some flexing (the waterdrop nib was completely stiff, with zero flex).
Feed diameter will increase compared to the waterdrop nib.
 
The nib will be called "Eureka / Exclamation Point" nib (EUREKA !!!).
currently it is in the prototyping phase, but my objective is to produce a high quality, good priced machined titanium nib.
I cannot gurantee success but I will try my very best.
