Tariff & Fees for U.S. customers

by Eureka_Admin

Important Information About U.S. Import Fees

Due to current trade regulations, U.S. customers are responsible for paying import tariffs and processing fees. To help you prepare, we have provided an estimate of these costs below.

How to Estimate Your Fees

Your total fees are generally calculated using the following formula: (Product Price + Shipping) × 15% + $15 (UPS Brokerage Fee)

  • 15% Tariff: This is a standard estimate (the exact percentage may vary).
  • $15 Brokerage Fee: A flat fee charged by UPS and the government for processing.

Example: If your order total is $173 ($138 product + $35 shipping), your estimated fee would be $40.95.

Refusal of Delivery & Refund Policy

Please be aware that refusing a package to avoid paying import fees is not permitted.

If a package is returned because the fees were not paid, the shipping carrier (UPS) charges the seller for:

  1. The original unpaid fees ($40+).
  2. The return shipping costs ($35+).

Because these costs often exceed $75–$100, we are unable to offer refunds if a package is returned due to unpaid customs fees. In cases where return costs are too high, we may be forced to reject the return entirely.

Why This Matters: A Real-Life Example

Recently, a customer purchased a $138 item ($173 total with shipping). When notified of the $40 import fee, they asked UPS to return the package instead of paying.

UPS then charged the seller $100 to get the package back. Because the return cost was nearly as high as the item's value, the item was not returned (the package destroyed by UPS).

We want to ensure your package arrives safely and without surprises. Please plan for these additional costs when placing your order.
