in continuation of the lastest development, some design changes have been updated.
1. nib point groove changed from rectangular to triangular slot.
- the rectagular slit exhibited scratchiness even after the nib point was polished.
the groove angle is simply too sharp. the triangular slot is much smoother.
- also, ink flow is too much for the rectagular slot. triangular slot is half the flow.
although the flow is very juicy compared to regular fountain pen, the ink flow is better controlled with triangular point groove.
2. horizontal ink reservoir groove depth has increased a bit.
This will increase the ink capacity, and help residual ink to flow better into the main ink channels.
the nibs are currently under production.
completed dip pen (including barrel and cap) will be available on february 2026.
