new symmetry model has been successfully developed in PEEK material
This is a fully precision-machined pen from solid peek rods.
we only use the PEEK material imported from Germany (high quality)
PEEK is a hyper-performance plastic (or super engineering plastic), that has following characteristics:
1) superb chemical resistance
2) high temperature resistance (max 260C)
3) superb strength, wear resistance, durability
this is a type of plastic that's much higher level than general-purpose plastics such as acrylic, PC, PP, Epoxy, etc.
typically fountain pens are made from general-purpose plastics.
high quality PEEK will roughly cost x10~20+ of typical acrylic.
new materials will be used for eureka fountain pens in the future, as research continues...
some of the materials in the list are as follows:
Peek(graphite-teflon), Peek carbon fiber 30%, Peek medical grade(blue, yellow, etc.)
Ultem(natural), Ultem(glass fiber 30%)...
also, different model types and parts will be developed in the future, although it will take much time (14k eureka nibs, asymmetry, precision ebonite feed with peek housing, faceted cap designs, clips etc.)
the development of symmetry model in peek marks pivotal moment of eureka fountain pen.
this is the first mass produceable pen we created.
