*** Extra caution is required especially for urushi models.
you must place silicone tape or protective layer of some sort @ inside surface of the stopper.
Do not slide the surface across with the stopper without protective layer, it will cause scratches.
always pry open the stopper, then place it at desired spot.

***MAKE SURE TO GET THE "OPEN" TYPE ONES
(closed types cannot stretch open, so it is not recommended)
there are various types of materials available for these:
sterling silver, stainless steel, resin, etc.
***If you want to protect the pen from rubbing against the stopper,
you could put a double sided tape or a thin "silicone tape" between stopper / cap
or anything you can think of that can fit between the stopper / cap
you should cut the tape into certain shape, that matches the stopper design.
