So far, i could only make linear (rod) dodecagon.
This was due to precision issues.
the level of precision required is quite high, even for Rod dodecagon,
for "Cigar" or Taper dodecagon even more precision is required.
thanks to recent research, i successfully developed "Cigar" dodecagon barrel.
This was my first time making parts from Ultem material (Germany, high quality)
since it has a bit less heat resistance than peek,
more attention is required for machining ultem.
also, since ultem is clear color, internal machining must be as close to perfect as possible.
this proved to be especially difficult, as the hole is deep and small diameter, compared to cap.
much research was required to successfully achieve high level of internal finishing.
after producing some more barrels, i will move on to the cap and grip research for ultem material)
