Solid Ebonite(Diamond) Pen Rest has been developed.
20mm solid ebonite rod was used (Japanese ebonite)
overall shape is a continuous arc, with faceted surface.
below photo shows penrest in freshly machined state.
polishing process will be applied, for production models.
I tried to apply polishing process,
however, the result was even worse than freshly machined state.
also the polishing process destroyed "machined" look & feel.
therefore I concluded, fresh and precise machined state is better for this application.
