Machined titanium nib prototype has been completed.
The development of this nib required more time than expected.
Unexpected problems related to machining titanium happened many times.
Fortunately I was able to overcome those hurdles, and achieved pretty good result.
Still, I have to work on perfecting the titanium finishing.
The material is Titanium Grade 23 (= grade 5 ELI / Extra Low Interstitual) / Germany.
Most of the industrial grade titanium we see these days are Chinese Grade 5 ones.
The Grade 23 titanium is medical grade, it is non-toxic so it can be used as implant material.
Also it is very pure titanium, there are less impurities so it is mechanically superior.
After perfecting the production procedure, I will produce a certain amount of these nibs.
Then I will start developing compatible ebonite feeder / grip section.
I will post any new updates regarding the nib in the future.
Thank you.
