Dodecagon diamond cigar symmetry Barrel (for urushi) has been developed.
following is a basic feature of this part:
1. Urushi suitable thread tolerance applied
2. new thread 3D entry design (latest version)
3. Urushi suitable angle alignment applied
4. Urushi suitable ends design applied
5. Urushi suitable hole entry design applied
so far i created dodecagon in cigar (curved) form, in unibody structure.
also, i created diamond dodecagon cap for asymmetry.
these are already quite challenging objectives.
however, i decided to take one step further.
i combined the two:
dodecagon cigar + dodecagon diamond.
the most difficult part is, machining dodecagon diamond shape precisely on curved surface.
and doing so in a solid unibody design, without any additional parts.
essentially a solid rod is turned into a complex, precise design.
this shape is quite good for tamenuri urushi.
a natural and complex gradation of urushi colors can be achieved, that's very pleasant to your eyes.
